@JP: Long. This is the signal I got last night. The VIX system enters trades at the open, but I am willing to wait for a better entry, and in this case I got it. This trade will be held for a few days to weeks so I need to remind myself to be patient.

XIV....my trading range is $36.30 - 37.61 long and short, it has been a fantastic range....glty!!

At $38.10 in pre-market, but I will wait to see if it rides higher. Seems like there is quite often a market surge then pause/reversal around 10 AM.
09:59 AM - out at $38.70 for a gain of $1685 after commissions.
